The purpose of the register

Delivery of products. Personal and business data is collected and used to provide the products desired by the data subject and to respond to the data subject’s requests.

Communication. We also use personal data for other communications with our customers and partners. For example, we may inform you about changes, send questions, or collect feedback.

Marketing. In addition, personal data is used for marketing purposes to send newsletters or other marketing material through the Mailchimp program.

Statistics. The information collected in connection with the use of the website via cookies is for statistical purposes only and for the development of the content of the website. The website’s visitors cannot be identified on the basis of the information.

Contents of the register

Company name, business ID, street address and website. The contact person’s name, title, email address and phone number. Information about ordered products, billing information, and other information related to the customer relationship.

We use Google Analytics to collect data about, for example, the number of visitors to the website and the browsers and terminals used by visitors.

Common sources of information

We receive the information stored in the register primarily from the person himself, for example through messages sent via the form on our website, email, telephone, social media, agreements, customer meetings and other situations where the customer discloses their data.

We also collect information from public sources such as websites, directory services and other companies. We use the Google-Analytics tool to collect information about website visitors.

Data retention time

Personal data is stored for as long as necessary to implement the agreement with the customer or to develop customer service.

Regular disclosure and transfer of information to areas outside the EU or EEA

Registered data can be shared within our own organisation. The data subject’s data will not be disclosed to third parties. Pipedrive does not transfer Inka Oy’s data, outside the European Economic Area (EEA). More information about Pipedrive’s privacy policy can be found here.

Principles for the protection of the register

Accuracy is observed in the processing of the register and the data processed by means of information systems are properly protected. The registry holder ensures that stored data, server permissions and other data that is critical to the security of personal data are handled confidentially and only by the employees whose job description it belongs to.

Right to inspection and right to require correction of data

Each person in the register has the right to check their data and the right to demand that incorrect data be corrected or that incomplete data be supplemented.

If a person wishes to verify or request rectification of their data, a written request must be sent signed to the registry holder. If necessary, the holder of the register may ask the applicant to prove his identity. The registry holder will reply to the customer within the time limit set out in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (usually within one month).

The right to inspection is free of charge once a year.

Other rights related to the processing of personal data

The data subject has the right to request the deletion of personal data about him or her (“right to be forgotten”). Data subjects also have other rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation such as restricting the processing of personal data in certain situations. Requests must be sent in writing to the registry holder. If necessary, the holder of the register may ask the applicant to prove his identity. The registry holder will reply to the customer within the time limit set out in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (usually within one month).
